Reporting a Complaint
NEW Alberta Safe Sport Complaint Mechanism (ABSSCM) and Related Policies
By posting this notification on the Darts Alberta website and the Darts Alberta Facebook Group and notification to all adult member leagues and youth member clubs, this serves as notice to all Darts Alberta members/participants of the new Independent Third-Party Complaint Mechanism.
This new Code of Conduct Policy replaces the former policy known as the Darts Alberta Violence and Harassment Policy #21 and adopts the Alberta Universal Code of Conduct used for all sports in Alberta as the Code of Conduct for all members/participants of Darts Alberta activities and services.
This newly revised Darts Alberta Complaint Reporting and Disciplinary Proceedings Policy designates the ABSSCM as its sole and exclusive complaint and adjudication mechanism for intake, assessment, investigation, resolution, adjudication, sanctioning, and appeal of Reports alleging Prohibited Behaviour connected to all Darts Alberta Activities, and that out of scope complaints will be returned to Darts Alberta for adjudication.
