Although a flyer was available at the 2012 Snoflake Open that stated the event would be held in Edmonton, this event has had to be changed to Calgary and will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Penbrooke Community Centre. The registration deadline is 9:45 a.m. See poster for more details.

There are several new changes to the Darts Alberta Member League Championship Program:

• The events NOW include Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles.
• The Chicago style format has been eliminated and all matches will be 501 straight in, double out.
• There are no spares permitted.
• There is no pre-registration.
• Although ALL participants must be members of a Darts Alberta Member League, you and your partner do not have to be members of the same member league.
• No two elite players can be on the same doubles team. Check the Elite List for player status.
• With the men's event now being doubles, the elite list has changed to include the top 32 ranked players as of April 30, 2011. All other elite status criteria remain the same (e.g. Top 32 NDFC Ranked, Top 64 WDF Ranked, represented Canada at international events in the past 5 years, members of Team Alberta currently and in the last two years.)
• The prize for the Men's Doubles winner and the Women's Doubles winner is now a Trip to the next Greater Vancouver Open (2013 GVO), the closest WDF Ranked Tournament outside of Alberta. The trip includes airfare and shared accommodations for two nights.
• No one under the age of 18 is permitted to compete. However, if a member of a member league is 18 years or over but still participates in the Youth Program, you would be eligible to participate.
