DA Electronically Automated Seeding course - coming soon to eLearning
This course provides step-by-step instructions for using the Darts Alberta's electronically Automated Seeding program. Practical exercises are provided to familiarize you with the using the program.
Prerequisite:
- DA Officiating Level 1 Course (to understand how to determine which players to seed)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Excel (Ver. 2003 or newer)

This course is designed for individuals interested in conducting face-to-face officiating or coaching workshops and includes the following Learning Modules:
- Introduction to Learning Facilitation

- Workshop Presentation Material and Learning Facilitator Handbooks
- Conducting Workshop Examinations
Prerequisite:
- Certified as a DA Officiator (Level I), or
- Certified as an NDFC Officiator (Level II), or
- Certified as an NDFC Competition-Development Dart Coach, or
- Certified as an NDFC Competition-High Performance Dart Coach

DA Introduction to Disciplinary Proceedings - coming Fall 2011
This course is designed for Executive Members of Dart Leagues to assist them in learning about the Disciplinary Process. A wealth of information will be provided including how to develop an effective and comprehensive disciplinary policy, understaning the appeal process and how to handle complaints.
Prerequisite:
- There is no prerequisite for this course.
- A general understanding of your league's policies, rules and procedures would be an asset.

DA How to Conduct a Fair Disciplinary Hearing - coming Fall 2011
So, you have a complaint and now need to deal with it! This course is not just designed for Executive Members of Dart Leagues but for any individual member that is asked to serve on a Disciplinary Committee. A wealth of information will be provided including the need to understand and follow your league's Discipline Policy, how to evaluate evidence and witness statements in order to render a decision, how to take mitigating and aggravating factors into consideration when rendering a sanction and how to ensure a sanction is not considered excessive and disproportionate.
Prerequisite:
- There is no prerequisite for this course.
- A general understanding of your league's Discipline Policy and/or completing the Introduction to Disciplinary Proceedings course would be an asset.

DA Mitigating Risk to Your Organization - coming Winter 2011
One of the biggest myths is that you are exempt from litigation if you have a disclaimer on your event poster. This course is designed to assist Executive Members of Dart Leagues and Tournament Organizers to gain an understanding of the risks facing your organization - especially if you run major events and tournaments. This course will provide information on understanding how to prove "absence of negligence", how to conduct a risk assessment of your organization and how to develop an effective Risk Management Plan in order to protect yourself and your organization.
