Brand New Dartboards at all DA-organized events!

Darts Alberta encourages feedback from its members and when feasible we do what we can to make it happen. During the 2012 Annual General Meeting in March, members raised an issue about the quality of dartboards used at Darts Alberta hosted events.
As a result of the discussion, Darts Alberta has purchased 48 brand new Nodor dartboards to be used at the following events which are directly organized and operated by Darts Alberta:

Adult Elite Provincial Championship

Youth Provincial Championship

Member League Provincials
-
Adult and Youth AGM Shoot
-
Pro Am Tournament
-
Annual Youth / 50+ Shoot

Other Darts Alberta event approved by the board
With the purchase of these boards comes the responsibility of storage and transportation. The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Darts Alberta Equipment Coordinator, Andy Bantick. Andy has agreed to store the boards and ensure the boards are delivered to all DA events. Welcome on board Andy!
Looking for ideas on how to get new boards at your legion, community league or dart facility?
In today's economic times, it is often challenging for legions or volunteer community leagues to operate let alone find extra funds to purchase new equipment. As dart players, you are the ones that will benefit from playing on new boards in quality condition. Why not join together with other dart players and organize a fundraiser event with proceeds going toward the purchase of new dartboards for your facility.
Darts Alberta would be happy to assist by providing suggestions on fundraising ideas and contact information of leagues that sell their slightly used boards at very reasonable rates after their major tournaments. For more information, contact the DA Administrator (administrator@dartsalberta.com).
