As a member of the league, Linda Ledingham was presented with a cheque for $200.00 from the Calgary Pub Darts Association to help towards her expenses to represent Canada at the 2012 World Masters in England next month. In a phone interview with Linda, she commented "I really appreciate the league's generous donation. I encourage all dart players to reach for their greatest potential. Attending the World Masters is a great experience and I hope to represent CPDA, Darts Alberta and Canada to the best of my ability."

Linda is one of seven Darts Alberta members that earned an invitation to the 2012 World Masters. Although not all are able to attend this year, here are those that received an invitation and how it was earned:

• Norm Tremblay - 2012 Canadian Nationals Men's Singles Champion
• Shaun Narain - 2012 Canadian Nationals Men's Singles - 5th place (won Joint 5th playoff)
• Rick Arnott - 2012 Klondike Open Men's Singles Champion (WDF Ranked event)
• Terry Hayhurst - 2012 Canadian Open Men's Singles Champion (WDF Ranked event)
• Cindy Pardy - 2012 Canadian Nationals Women's Singles Champion
• Linda Ledingham - 2012 Greater Vancouver Open Women's Singles Champion (WDF Ranked event)
• Dawson Murschell (Youth) - Winner of the 2012 World Masters Youth Qualifier
