With the Provincials rapidly approaching, we’ve had players that have not been members of Team Alberta in the past asking what they are responsible for paying if they were to make the team to participate at the Nationals. We thought this would be a good opportunity to ensure that all members are aware of what is paid by Darts Alberta and what is the responsibility of the team member.

EXPENSE—ADULT TEAM MEMBERS

Upon paying the team commitment fees, each team member receives the following:

• Airfare—Paid by Darts Alberta, including the cost of 1 checked bag
• Gas Mileage—Paid by Darts Alberta if a team member resides more than 100 km from the airport
• Transportation—Paid by Darts Alberta if there is a fee for transportation (airport to hotel; hotel to venue)
• Nationals Accommodations—Darts Alberta pays accommodations for 6 nights from Sunday before the Nationals until after the Nodor Cup based on sharing with another team member
• Pre-Tournament Accommodations—Team Members are responsible for paying their accommodations should they wish to go early to participate in the pre-tournament
• Canadian Open Accommodations—Team Members are responsible for paying their accommodations should they wish to stay to participate in the Canadian Open
• Nationals Entry Fee—Paid by Darts Alberta
• Other Entry Fees—Team Members are responsible for paying their own entry fees for any open cash tournaments before or after the Nationals and for any international qualifier tournaments
• Team Shirt—Paid by Darts Alberta; Team Members can buy 1 extra shirt
• Banquet Ticket—Paid by Darts Alberta
• Food / Beverages—Team Members are responsible for paying for their own food and beverages
• Team Commitment Fee—To receive the above funding, Team Members must pay Darts Alberta a $200 non-refundable fee each year as well as $100 (in non-casino years) or $200 (in casino years) which is held in trust and refunded if they volunteer for the casino

Upon paying the team commitment fees, each team member receives the following:

• Airfare—Paid by Darts Alberta, including the cost of 1 checked bag
• Gas Mileage—Paid by Darts Alberta if a team member resides more than 100 km from the airport
• Transportation—Paid by Darts Alberta if there is a fee for transportation (airport to hotel; hotel to venue)
• Nationals Accommodations—Darts Alberta pays accommodations throughout the Youth Nationals (4 nights)
• Nationals Entry Fee—Paid by Darts Alberta
• Other Entry Fees—Team Members are responsible for paying the entry fees for the Bursary Shoot or any international qualifier tournaments
• Team Shirt—Paid by Darts Alberta; Team Members can buy 1 extra shirt
• Banquet Ticket—Paid by Darts Alberta if not paid by a national sponsor
• Food / Beverages—Team Members are provided with a per diem of $30.00 per day for each of the 3 days of Nationals
• Team Commitment Fee—To receive the above funding, Team Members must pay Darts Alberta a $100 non-refundable fee each year as well as $50 (in non-casino years) or $100 (in casino years) which is held in trust and refunded if they or a parent volunteers for the casino
