AGM & Shoot in Calgary at Albert Park Community Centre on
March 11, 2007 at 10am.
Special
Resolution - Subject: Adoption of Darts Alberta Bylaws All DA members are encouraged to come to the DA AGM & Shoot in Calgary in March. DA Youth are encouraged to attend as well (only those over 18 years of age can vote however). As per previous years, only those attending the AGM can participate in the Shoots. A minimum of $4000 will be won in the various Youth and Adult Singles events. Because of the Youth involvement at this event, the City of Calgary smoking bylaws and DA policy adherence restricts smoking within the facility. The following Executive positions will up for re-election this year: Membership Director appointment for remaining year; President; 2nd Vice-President; Treasurer; Publicity Director. |

New Darts Alberta Website |
Revamped DA Website to launch by beginning of March One part of the 2005 surveys many of you participated in included questions on our current DA website. You spoke and we listened. Some time in the next 4-6 weeks, a revamped DA Website will be launched offering easy navigation, a sitemap, tournament listings, results, initiatives, etc.--all the things you've come to expect from your premier source for darts information in Alberta and more. |
| Revision of Member League Championship from six teams in each Section to four teams in each Section. Based on playtime duration concerns, it was decided that in the Championship series, no Round Robin Section will have more than 4 teams. | |
| DA Demographics and Program Feedback Surveys Compiled and Results Posted Online. As some of you will recall, an online Dart Players Demographics survey and Programs Feedback survey was conducted between October 1, 2005 and December 15, 2005 by DA to gather statistical demographics of dart players from within Alberta and throughout Canada. The executive summary results are available viewing and DA will continue review and implement/modify initiatives. We wish to thank all participants for their feedback. | |
